i was awoken this morning to my little guy gracing my face with some butterfly kisses.
i won't lie, it's a nice way to greet the day.
hard to believe he'll be FOUR ((cringe)) in 6 days.
i am very lucky and if wishes were kisses i could save the world.
and
treat myself to all of these lovelies i have been drooling over...
i'd love some new baubles.
these are just a few of the pieces that make me wish my eggs weren't too old to donate.

i am normally pretty comfortable with the "sacrifice" of living hand-to-mouth.
really, i'm not starving and i have clothes on my back so who am i to bitch?!
but we, as a society of consumption have always put the fix on our happiness through a retail needle and on occasion i fall victim to the jones.
unfortunately, it's rarely more than a rough case of the DT's that i must exhaust until i am forced to admit that the desire don't jive with the funds.
i used to have the kind of job where i had to look nice every night (no, not THAT kind of job) now i work from home and, i must admit, it ain't cute over here.
i wouldn't mind a little shopping spree.
just a few pieces to freshen shit up and make me feel like i have somewhere to go besides the bathroom and the mailbox.
